Can you be unemployable and successful at the same time? If I’m any example, the answer is an absolute YES!
I’ve actually been unemployable for the last 5-7 years (actually longer). Yet I’ve also been successful online. It has spoiled me.
What about you? Can you imagine being an unemployable entrepreneur? Successful online but no longer successful offline?
My Own Journey
My own story of how I reached success online while working at low-paying jobs, and what it took for me to get there and stay there can be summed up with 1 word: Grit
No, this is not about the dirty details of all the work and effort and time I put into this online thing to make it work. Rather this is more about you and how you can do the same with a little determination.
See it’s always motivating when you hear the story of accomplishment from others. How they did it. The steps they took to get there.
All you have to do is follow those same steps and you can do the same, if not much, much more.
How to Be Unemployable and Successful
Your goal should be to become unemployable in the offline world because you’ve become successful in the online world.
And I’m not talking about living on welfare or off the hard-earned income of others from some government handout, where you end up being a slave to the state. No, No, No.
I’m not talking about figuring out what to do when you’re unemployable. That’s not your goal.
I’m talking about you being a successful entrepreneur and online business owner and reaching that success before you become unemployable in the offline world.
This means building your online empire and income on the side WHILE you’re working at the low-paying job you don’t want to do the rest of your life. Which will allow you to one day quit that job and still absolutely survive and thrive.
How Do You Reach the Status of “Unemployable” Today?
Nothing “ruins” you more in working for other people than being self-employed and working for yourself.
“And I can almost promise you that once you get a taste of self-employment (if you haven’t already), you’ll never want to go back to clocking in and making someone else rich.”
I’ve been blessed with being self-employed for the last 7 years, and I can easily look back and remember the drudgery of having to work a retail job.
I felt trapped. I felt stuck. I felt alone (even though I worked with others that felt the same way).
You probably feel that way, too.
If you do, just know that with a little patience, knowledge and perserverance, you too can escape that treadmill and find freedom!
You won’t need to worry about getting older and being unemployable with too many years under your belt and not enough education or experience to build a good retirement…or ever experience life and freedom.
THAT’s the fear that most people have. You can conquer that fear.
Your goal after reading this post should be to reach the status of “unemployable and successful” by having your own online side-business that becomes your ONLY business.
I was lucky and blessed to have found an internet marketing coach that walked me through the steps I needed to take to build up my online side-business.
Once I could see what he was talking about, I got to work. I would work anywhere from 10 minutes when I got home to 4 hours (depending on my determination level and how exhausted I was at the end of each day).
After 5 months, I’d created enough income to replace my retail job income…but I decided to keep working and double up.
I kept building my online business blog website until it doubled my retail income before I gave my notice to my employer.
I really finally felt FREE! And I was!
(You can be, too…)
